Poseidi is coastal settlement in the municipality Kassandra.
In Cape Poseidi or "neptunium" called as early as Thucydides, excavations revealed an important sanctuary of the Neptune.
Also you can see the lighthouse at Cape Poseidi which was built in 1864 during the Ottoman period from the French Company Lighthouses.
The beach is amazing and Poseidi large (kilometer-long) with sand, pebbles and clear, blue waters.
